Getting Ready...

     One of my favorite parts of being a teacher is setting up my classroom!  I think about what kind of atmosphere I want to create in the classroom and arrange and decorate it accordingly.  Generally I like my classroom to be an upbeat, colorful place that encourages activity--both physical and mental.  Already this week I have arranged desk groups, cleaned and organized the bookshelves in the library section, and set up my desk area.  I can't wait to go back on Monday morning and continue the process!
